World-class education is important for students to help them prepare for work and life in today’s globalized world. Employers today seek people who are able to thrive in an international setting. No matter what the destination – USA/Canada/UK/Europe/Australia/New Zealand or Singapore.

The hardest part of the international education experience is ‘where and how to get started’?

• The GRE test reflects the kind of thinking students inculcate in graduate or business schools. It tests their verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing.

• Total score of the latest pattern of GRE is 340 (170 each in the Verbal and Math sections). Scores above 290 are ‘safe’ scores as of today. A 3.0/6.0 score in AWA (Analytical Writing Assessment) section is a minimum requirement.

• Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized, computer-adaptive assessment criterion for admission into a wide range of graduate management programs, including MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Finance and Master’s in Management programs.

• Designed to measure the student’s ability to evaluate data presented in new formats and multiple sources, GMAT assesses ability levels in quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, integrated reasoning and analytical writing.

• Scores ranging from 200-800

SAT – I & SAT –II (Subject Test):

• The most widely used college admission examination in USA, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is the first step in finding the right college.

• SAT tests student’s knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics. SAT scores are just one of many factors that colleges in USA consider when making their admission decisions.

• Any score above 2000/2400 max score is usually a winning one as of today.

• SAT – II subject tests are also a pre-requisite for top colleges in USA. This score enhances the chances of obtaining merit based scholarships from leading Universities. Three subject tests are required, with scores out of a max score of 800. 2000 plus score, again, is ideal.

While no minimum score is required to pass the test, each Institute sets a different threshold. IELTS has four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
